Shoutout to AmboDriver

Really, I Lol’d on this one.

Merry Christmas!

Funny… but I guess I disagree with the nature of the post. I have a friend that suffers from fibromyalgia, and I know she's no “whiner” or “addict”.

I've seen her in so much pain that she can barely move (and, to make things worse, she has Lupus, as well). There have been times where she's had to call friends to get her out of the bathtub, because she is in so much pain, and has no idea why.

But yeah, it's a funny post.

  • Ambulance_Driver

Not saying all people with fibromyalgia are whiners or addicts, Crazynewt.

Just saying that many of them who regularly appear in the ER begging for narcotics are.

Or even more likely, don;t have fibromyalgia at all. It's a condition ripe for abuse and overdiagnosis.

    crazynewt,

Why is the doctor diagnosing her with fibromyalgia, when she has lupus? At best fibromyalgia is a watered down version of lupus, but without the stuff that actually ends up killing people who have lupus.

    Welcome to the Club
Well said, Chris. We can't save everybody, but the ones we don't save tend to stick around a lot longer than the ones we do save.

Six Tricks You Can Use Today to Improve Your EMS Narrative Report
The first and best way to get people reading you to think that you are an idiot is to pepper your writing with spelling and grammatical errors. It makes you look dumb. - Me thinks this should have been restructured as it does not flow and caused me to reread it several times. lol :)
