EMS Week 2010 is coming up – Managers, are you thinking of sending a THank You letter to your crews? Here’s a template to get you started. It’s free to use and to modify
EMS week 2010 is coming up. This year, the official slogan is “Anytime. Anywhere. We’ll be there.” That’s fine for the public, but I suggest that we use EMS week 2010 to promote our own slogan “All Respect is Earned”
Following up to the “A Slap in the Face to Paramedics Everywhere?” Post, this is how I see it once I’ve calmed down a bit. It is a slap, but it should serve as a wake-up call for EMS.
Maybe I’m way off base here, but I’m just plain ol’ irate. I saw this ambulance on display at FDIC last weekend and I think it’s a full-on slap in the face to paramedic types like myself. It’s real, I took the picture myself.
Does your foot seem to have an oral fixation? Mine does. Sometimes I say some really stupid stuff. A letter I recieved from a “paramedic student” has gotten me thinking about some of those times.
Grumblemedics seem to be everywhere, whether they’re a “grumble-Pee” or a “grumble-bee”, perhaps they should evaluate their own attitudes. We have a long way to go, but look at how far we’ve come.
I am a paramedic trying to advance the idea that the Emergency Medical Services can be made into the profession that we all want it, need it, and know it deserves to be.
Brandan Sichling Patient Friendly Jokes I usually tell the patient that it might be a little bumpy as we unload them but not to worry, we only drop patients on whatever day it happens to be.

Ursus_Indomitus Welcome to Hell Feet 2: Magnum Boots Review I just got some Viper 8.0 boots. They are WAY too narrow for the size. I normally take 11.5 E actual. These are size 12 and not even D width. 12D usually works for me and are a skosh large. These Magnums didn't cut it.

Rebecca Riley Stop Feeding the EMS Tee Trolls I'm thoroughly creeped out. IfI saw someone wearing one of those, I'd find out who they are and make a phone call. That is so far off from professional. What you do off the clock affects perception of you as an individual and the profession as a whole.
